Ha Kwaiyo

La Jolla, CA

The Kumeyaay spent summers at what is now modern day La Jolla, fishing, harvesting shellfish, and collecting objects for trade. The Ha Kwaiyo boats were a big part of their lives at the shores. Visitors to this area will now see this tradition co-exist with modern day beach culture in a series of holograms anchored along the coast of San Diego, in XR360º in Our Worlds.
