Eagle Rock is located near Warner Hot Springs in northeastern San Diego along the Pacific Crest Trail.
It is a traditional hunting, gathering, and ceremonial location of the Kupa (Kuupangaxwichem / Cupeño) people. Natural resources gathered around Eagle Rock are only to be used for special occasions.
Eagle Rock continues to be considered a sacred site today, not only to the Kupa people but to all surrounding Indigenous communities. We ask that visitors please show respect by staying on the designated trail and admiring the rocks from a distance. Please refrain from taking cultural items found along the trail.
